Dear Women's Figure Skating,

I realize that you are all very talented women. Very athletic and flexible. I understand that I will never be able to do what you do on the ice, or anywhere. In fact, I rarely skate on the ice at all, and can barely steer or brake when I do.

On that note, please realize that I just want to help when I say that this move is pretty and graceful.

However, I reserve to dislike this next move. I understand it is a very difficult move and shows great skill. But, please quit coming at me with your hoo-ha.

Yours Cordially,
Jordan

My Kingdom for a Horse!

So, today was a bit of a stressful day. It was a long day, and finally, it was quittin' time. Then I see a friend. His car needs a jump. So, thinking nothing of it I pull my car around. Off he goes. THEN I get ready to go, only to realize my steering is really tight. Its hard to turn it even a little. I turn it off. Turn back on. I kick the tires. Nothing. So, I do what I do every time when something goes wrong. I call my mom.

I don't mean to be dramatic, but shoot me in the face.

She in turn calls my uncle, who works on cars all the time. It is a fuse. Apparently, my car cannot be used to jump another car or the fuse goes out in the power steering. Fantastic. No good deed goes unpunished people! NEVER help ANYONE!

However, if you are a girl and look pathetic enough standing in front of a car, people will come to help you. Someone helped me locate the correct fuse and take it out, and my awesome friend Jen took me to Autozone to get a new fuse, and then stood there with me when I put in the old fuse and had to shimmy it out again.(Ok, so maybe help people sometimes.)

I've said it once, I'll say it again, but I have NO luck with cars. I'm ready to bring back horses. So what if it takes me 12 days to get to you?

What the FICA?!

So, I need to do my taxes. BUT, I was talking to my Mom, and before going off about Obama, she told me the days of getting a full refund on my taxes was over. WHAT!? SO lame! Especially since I make so little!

This is yet another reason why I was made to work part time. (Or not at all...)

Nerds

So, the awards season is upon us. With celebrities getting their hair did and getting nominated for stuff. People judging their wardrobe. And its a big thing. Hours of production and TV just to see who acts the best.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love TV and Movies. But I was just remembering how in High School the drama nerds were not cool. And they were also a bit weird. And in college when I'd sit in the Fine Arts building, sometimes there would be actors doing a scene. And I thought, you are just weird.

I think, the famous actors are just the good looking weirdos. And we celebrate that. Weird.
