Pocahontas Hair

So, over a year ago I obsessed about whether or not to cut my hair. Deep stuff. Well, almost exactly a year later I delved into the hair cutting again.

At times I just wanted to chop it all off, and at others times, I never wanted to part with my hair. In the words of my niece, who, when her mother attempted to potty train her, just yelled, "Never! Never! Never! Never!" I mean, if the Duchess of Cambridge can have the same hairstyle for years and years, why not me?

So, I decided to let the hair stylist lady decide. I set up an appointment and told her, I could trim it, or my friend Lauren (Who actually told me about said stylist in the first place) had been encouraging me to go for it and cut it all off!

At this point, she cut me off. "You can tell Lauren I am never cutting your Pocahontas hair!"

Which is surprising, because I generally think hairstylists like to do dramatic short cuts. But apparently, my hair is that amazing.

Also, I'm conflicted, because I think I should be a little offended about the Pocahontas comment. But, she had magic hair. In a slight breeze her hair would fly about without ever tangling.

Cool?

Yesterday, I can't remember what we were talking about, but somewhere in the conversation my mom busted out with, "You have a red chili pepper!"

What is that you ask? I was confused for a moment as well.

Apparently, on ratemyprofessor.com, I have a red chili pepper next to my ratings. It means I'm hot. So, when students show up to my class beginning of the semester and freak out because I'm not my dad, they can be solaced by the fact that I'm hot.

I feel like there are people out there that I can rub this information in their nose. (Although, it might be weird stating that 19 year old boys think I'm hot...almost illegal)
