Craigslist is Creepy

I've been looking for a nice but inexpensive bike on Craigslist. Today, I found a bike that seemed to fit the bill, so I emailed the guy and he kept wanting me to call, but I preferred to just email.

And then I got my sister to come with me to the house. Well, it was less of a house and more of a trailer. And, I'm pretty sure I saw the owner, and he was wearing PJ's. People were walking around without shoes and teeth. I figured, I don't need a bike that bad.

Later I got an email saying he saw me and to come back. I was creeped out further. Maybe a cheap bike isn't worth it. And, I don't care what people say about Walmart bikes, I think it might be worth it to buy one of their bikes and skip the "I'm a strange man luring women into my trailer in order to sell you into white slavery" step.

Easter Traditions

For Easter, and other major holidays as well, the Rosenthal side of the family always gets together. And for Rosenthals, this also means we take pictures. A LOT of pictures. And, even though we are in an age of digital cameras and facebook and email, EVERYONE needs to take their own picture. So what you get is a ton of cousins smushed together while each aunt takes about 40 pictures each.

Our tradition as cousins, if you hadn't noticed, is to complain about it.

And, it's not really a tradition, but there are always babies/toddlers in the photo. It just happens with a big family. Younger aunts/uncles have babies, and then the older cousins start to have families. But, what we see when we take pictures is a bunch of adults waving their hands and making noises to ensure the small children look forward and smile.

So, this year we decided to reciprocate. This is what you get.

I didn't get all of it, because I had to take my 40 pictures. Here is how my mature aunts and uncles reacted:

If you missed it, that was my aunt flipping us the bird. I guess she forgot the official animal of Easter is the Bunny.

Summer Diet

The other night I was going thru my photos. I saw my summer in Boulder, Co, and while Boulder and I were not a good fit, and I was near broke most of the summer, I liked my diet. Or rather, how I felt skinny on my diet.

Like I said, I was near broke the entire summer. And I didn't like their hippie stores. So, I only shopped in the small grocery section at Target. Therefore, most of the summer, my diet mainly consisted of Tuna, PB&J, and hot dogs.

I think that will be my new diet this summer. I will pretend like I'm near destitution. And get a bike and get more sun. I feel like this could be the best summer ever. Or at least, I can lose the winter weight.

Part of me realizes that this does mean I need to stop eating my weight in Starburst Jellybeans.

Sometimes...

Sometimes I really wish I was married. Especially when I have to fill out taxes.

Mostly because the one thought I have when I do them is: I would totally make my husband do this.

Time Out, Join Me

I recently became obsessed with "Friday," the song by Rebecca Black. I even bought it. It's so horrible that it became completely awesome! I wish I had the Jimmy Fallon/Colbert version.

I even made my class listen to it today. How could I not? It is FRIDAY, FRIDAY! Gotta get down on Friday! Everybody's looking forward to the weekend! FUN FUN FUN FUN!

Seriously, you need this song.

We so excited.

I went to a wedding reception today. It was fun. My friends came in pants and I was in a dress. They were like, why so dressed up? I was like, "I'm not an immigrant!" (bonus points if you know where that is from).

Also, at the wedding, another girl came in wearing a similar dress. I quickly did a People Magazine poll: Who Wore it Better? According to my survey, 100% me.

We left before the bouquet was thrown. After catching it 20 times, it is no longer a cute tradition, it is just plain pathetic. Much like the fact that I LOVE "FRIDAY." YEAH!

I really am looking forward to the weekend.

People Think I'm Dying

Because, yet again, I was yelling out, "ARGGH!" --in my ogre yell.

"Why?" you might ask. Because, I finally got the replacement part to my collapsed closet, and after hanging up most of my clothes, it fell over. Again.

Muffin brought Mom and me some duct tape, and I propped it up with some boxes. Let's hope it works.
