Blackacre Ballers!

Well, that really isn't their name. It is actually The Dissent, but that just doesn't sound as cool. In anycase, the boys of the law school had an intramural basketball game and Marie said I had to go because she doesn't want to be the only one going.  Although, when I got there, I walked in with Stacey, but she got a call and stayed outside and I sat by myself.  Marie wasn't even there. Mark thought it would be funny if they all said they'd come but backed out.  Well, since I was the only one there at the time I was asked to be the scorekeeper.  When Stacey walked in she saw that it was the paper scorekeeper, and got REALLY excited about it, so I let her take over.

Then Marie, Brandon's sister, and Maggie came.  

The game was fun.  The boys they played against were quite weird.  There was one who looked like he was wearing swimtrunks and ALWAYS fell down whenever someone came near him. There was this fat boy who "guarded" people using his stomach to push them, and some over excited players who just constantly grunted and yelled from the sidelines. 

 

The Dissent won by a landslide. Some Favorite moments of the game:

1. Brandon preventing a shot by grabbing the ball as the other boy tries to shoot. Followed by Brandon yelling to Stacey, aka Scorekeeper, "That wasn't a foul, that was a BLOCK!"

2. The anger in Mark's eyes when the other team booty-bumped him while he was down.

3. The other team member getting a yellow card. . . from the sideline. Our 2L player was running down the court with the ball when he abruptly stopped.  The other team member ran straight into him and fell. To which his sidelined teammember Yelled out, "You gotta call that, Ref!" Uh, that wasn't a foul...
